 I earned my B.A. in English from UC Irvine, and soon after became a substitute teacher—a role that unexpectedly changed my life🎓. It was during those days in different classrooms that I found my true passion: working with preschoolers, especially those with special needs. Inspired by this calling, I went on to complete a M.A. in Special Education and an Early Childhood Special Education Credential at Cal State Dominguez Hills. For 25 years, I taught preschool special education, guiding young learners and supporting their families through milestones big and small. Though I’m now retired from the classroom, I continue my mission through writing children’s books, creating resources, and equipping educators and parents with tools that make learning engaging and accessible.

 Faith and ministry are central to my life🌟. At my church, I help lead the children’s ministry and oversee the preschool program, creating simple PowerPoint lessons that bring Bible stories to life for our teachers and students. I also enjoy organizing the classroom and structuring routines to create an environment where children feel cared for, safe, and excited to learn. Each week, I’m reminded that teaching is more than what happens in a classroom—it’s a calling. Guiding children to know and love the Lord is one of my greatest honors.
