My mission is to always educate with care. I am passionate about teaching young children and encouraging special education teachers. I have a B.A. in English from the University of California, Irvine. I earned my Early Childhood Special Education Credential and Master's of Arts in Special Education from the California State University, Dominguez Hills. I have 24 years of experience teaching preschool special education. I have several years of experience working with young children in the general education setting as well. I have always taught in title I schools. I also have a certificate to teach English Language Learners.

Most of my educational career has been focused on teaching young children with disabilities. But I've realized that many new special education teachers also need support and encouragement. There's many things that are best learned through personal hands on experience or from other experienced teachers. So one of my main goals is to make educational videos for new special education teachers where I share my experiences teaching in the classroom. Hopefully teachers can learn from my successes and my failures and struggles. My second goal for Care2Teach Educational Resources is to make educational videos for young children ages 2~6 with and without special needs. The educational videos will be made available on platforms like YouTube.
